This facility, overlooking the Snoqualmie River Valley, is located in the historic downtown core of the City of Duvall.
TCA worked closely with the client and the City of Duvall in order to create a design that harmonizes with the City's historic core design guidelines. The resulting design creates a pedestrian-friendly façade by moving the building up to the property line, and placing the parking behind the building.
The building's elevations invoke the surrounding historical context through the use of gabled roofs, modulated bays, awnings with heavy timber brackets, color, and both vertical board and batten, and horizontal lap siding.
The Center provides additional classrooms, offices, and a large multi-purpose / gymnasium space for the adjacent Duvall Church. The Center is designed to utilize many sustainable ideas such as pervious paving, daylighting, exposed structural components, native landscaping and the use of recycled products.
TCA worked with Natural Factors, a global industry leader in the production of natural health formulas to assist in the Tenant Improvement renovation of a 145,000 SF shell warehouse building in Monroe, WA. The facility accommodates US Sales offices, manufacturing, production and distribution functions. The phased state-of-the-art facility will also include a retail component and a demonstration garden.
The fast track schedule required hands on CM by TCA including a phased permitting approach based on multiple design packages. TCA provided sustainability consulting services for the project’s LEED Gold goal.
Crossroads Lease and Finance Center
Rancho Cucamongo, CA
This project included the space planning, interior design and build-out of a 15,000 SF lease and finance center within an existing office shell. The two story facility is zoned by work group areas and incorporates executive offices, transitory offices, copy centers, conferencing, and break rooms.
The perimeter offices were organized in a “u-shaped” configuration to allow for an abundance of light to penetrate the high ceiling open office work environment yet maintain the acoustical privacy needed for the individual offices.
The facility incorporates sustainable finishes and a highly efficient mechanical system to lower long-term operational costs.
