Duvall is a small rural community nestled in the Snoqualmie Valley in northeast King County. Despite recent population growth, Duvall has maintained its small town feel by preserving the historic nature of its main street core.

TCA worked with the community to design its new fire station facility to reflect these community values. Through the emulation of rooflines, building details and facade modulations from buildings in the downtown historic district, the 13,695 SF award-winning station maintains the City’s historical character and blends easily into its surroundings.

The station’s building forms and materials embrace the operational program, which incorporates a five-bay headquarters fire station consisting of administrative and crew areas, an emergency operations center and a community center.
